Ocean Modeling in IORA

The Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA) recognizes the critical role of the ocean in shaping climate patterns and impacting maritime safety within its member states. As the effects of climate change become increasingly pronounced, the development and utilisation of local-scale ocean models have emerged as essential tools for understanding and mitigating these challenges.
